Plant a Tree Campaign

We're in the process of setting up a Plant a Tree Campaign to put something back into the environment, rather than just taking from it. We haven't worked out the details yet, but the idea is to start planting trees to replenish woodlands and forests. What we're doing to support the environment

At BOX express we're conscious of the impact our business activities may have on the environment and we try to minimise it wherever possible. Here are some things that we do to help conserve resources:

> many of our packaging products, especially our packing boxes and large cardboard boxes, are partly made from recycled content and are themselves recyclable. Please check the ‘Features' section of individual products for more information.

> when we pack customer orders we try to minimise the outer packaging used whilst ensuring that all the products are securely packed and will be safe in transit. This requires some careful planning in how products are combined for packing purposes.

> we like recycling our internal packaging. So for example, the packaging that we receive goods in is reused wherever possible for shipping out items.

> when we receive our stock of cardboard boxes and packaging materials, any damaged items are used internally for packing and shipping purposes wherever possible, instead of being discarded. This means we don't compromise on the quality of the products we sell, but equally we don't throw away packaging that can otherwise be used by ourselves.

> we're currently looking to introduce ‘environmentally friendly' packaging products that are biodegradable - so watch this space for further details.
